Liu Yan 流烟 Flowing Smoke Northern Southern Dynasty Ruqun Set
Inspired by the stylized long sleeves and flowing skirts of the Northern Southern Dynasties, the Liu Yan 流烟 Flowing Smoke Ruqun Set is a dreamy yet simple ensemble.
Features layered wide-sleeved shirts called Yaolan Ru 腰襕襦. Floor length sleeves were a result of a popular trend known as the "immortals style" during the 3rd to 4th century. Paired with a ruffled Banxiu 半袖 "half sleeve" jacket for an additional goddess touch.
The double layered pleated skirt called Zhequn 褶裙 has a soft hazy gradient, creating dimension throughout the sheer layers.
Finish the look with the Bixi 蔽膝, literally translated as "knee cover". Also known as Zaju 杂裾, this triangular overskirt with long ribbons was meant to imitate swallow tails to create the impression of a goddess floating.

CLEANING INFORMATION
Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a flat surface or hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu.
For polyester pieces, please steam out wrinkles.
