Typical outfit for Manchurian women during the Qing Dynasty. During this period, Han women wore two-piece sets while Manchurian women wore long one-piece robes. Characterized by heavy embroidery, contrasting trims, wide sleeves, and overall wide shape, the Changpao 长袍 is a heavier, more formal version of a basic dress; worn for special and formal occasions during the 18th century.
Available in a variety of traditional colors, all adorned with a plethora of hyacinths, plum blossoms, and more! Details along the collar, trim, and cuffs all add vibrancy and dimension to this colorful outfit. Handmade garment.

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the product photos. Please measure in centimeters.
CLEANING INFORMATION
Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
