Tian Wen 天问 Asking the Heavens Modernized Warring States Zhiju Straight Hem Robe Set
This item has a 20 day construction period.
Based on artifacts from the Mashan Tomb in Southeastern China, the Tian Wen 天问 Asking the Heavens Zhiju Robe Set is a fantastical take on historical garments.
The Zhiju 直裾 (straight hem robe) was worn by both men and women for most of the earliest dynasties. Characterized by long, sweeping, dramatic sleeves, and of course - a straight hem along the bottom!
Choose from a juicy jujube red set or an exquisite white set, or even better mix and match the inner outer layers for your own custom Warring States Period set.
Soft inner robe with golden brocade hems, this set is as if a sunset fairy came to life. Floor-grazing length for maximum goddess impact, geometric brocade along cuffs and collar add a bit of sparkle to peek out beneath the outer layer.
Pair with the matching brocade belt (included with inner robe only!) to tie it all together.
Perfect for photoshoots, cultural events, and running through hallways dramatically.
This item has a 20 day construction period.
Material:
- Inner Robe - rayon blend, soft, breathable, comfortable
- Outer Robe - chiffon, drapes well, gentle textured feel
