High mandarin collar, crossbody closure with traditional frog buttons, and iconic side slits for mobility - this garment is not only effortlessly stylish, but a sophisticated garment with rich history behind it.
Much like the qipao, the Changshan 长衫 originates from Manchurian garments after the fall of Han-ruled dynasties (AKA bye-bye hanfu).
Manchurian garments naturally became the norm throughout the Qing Dynasty, then enter the Republican Era where East meets West - bringing us hybrid garments much like these. Made from soft and breathable linen fabrics, this will keep you cool and comfortable throughout every season.
Single layered for better ventilation, white contrast fabric around the cuffs and collar for a cohesive look, try flipping the cuffs for a fun kungfu vibe. Hand-made garment with Qing Dynasty inspired curved stitching along the collar.
